Friday night was a really special experience for me as I sang with the The Derek Paravicini Quartet (without Ollie on this occasion) live on BBC Radio 3’s programme In Tune presented by Sean Rafferty. We arrived at BBC Broadcasting Studios and after a quick sound check we were ready. Derek, Ben and I performed some of our favourite songs; Lullaby of Birdland, Black Coffee and Sweet Georgia Brown followed by a stunning rendition by Derek of You are the Sunshine of My Life. An incredible experience all round made even better by working with the most wonderful musicians.
